- The user profile link is not correctly identified to screen readers. This fails WCAG 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (A).
- Version information for the platform fails contrast requirements. This fails WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast Minimum (AA).
- Placement scheme tile information does not receive appropriate focus indication. This fails WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible (AA).
- The home page does not have a heading structure. This fails WCAG 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (A).
- The buttons for booking or registering on events cannot be accessed using keyboard controls. This fails WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard (A).
- Search sort by controls which appear on the Events, Opportunities and Placements pages do not receive focus indication. This fails WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible (A).
- Event listings may include images such as logos or other images of text which do not have text based accessible alternatives. This fails WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text Content (A) and 1.4.5 Images of Text (AA).
- On some forms, several fields are not correctly labelled or identified to screen reader users. This fails WCAG 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (A), 2.5.3 Label in Name (A), 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions (A), and 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (A).

Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 7 April 2022. It was last reviewed on 23 January 2025.
Testing was last carried out on 27 April 2022 against the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. The test was carried out internally by the University of Westminster Digital Accessibility Team, using a combination of manual techniques, automated and semi-automated tools and testing with a range of devices, browsers, operating systems and assistive technologies.
Testing was completed against WCAG 2.1 as the latest version of WCAG at the time of testing. Following the regulations update on 26 October 22 requiring testing against WCAG 2.2 after release, this website will next be tested against the WCAG 2.2 standards.
