This accessibility statement refers to the University Events web and mobile application provided by the University of Westminster. University Events Online Platform is a third-party system developed by SpotMe to provide online access for event attendees (later referred to as the “application”).

Enforcement procedure
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the ‘accessibility regulations’). If you’re not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

What we’re doing to improve accessibility
The University contracts with an external supplier SpotMe to provide this platform. Therefore, some of the issues identified are not within our control to address. We will raise these issues with the supplier and work with them to find solutions, where possible.
Live video is out of scope of the regulations and does not currently have captions. We are working to introduce it once available from the supplier.
