what our students say

Parampreet Kaur

Architecture and Environmental Design BSc - 2026

One of the most rewarding aspects is the opportunity to work on real-world projects and collaborate with professionals and peers from different backgrounds. The teaching staff have been incredibly supportive in my journey of learning digital software and architectural knowledge preparing me for professional practice.

Alisha Khan

Architecture BA - 2026

Westminster’s Architecture course blends creativity with technical skill, supported by inspiring tutors, cutting-edge facilities, and real-world opportunities. From competitions to international trips, it’s a place where aspiring architects grow, connect, and thrive in the heart of London.

Maryam Khurram

International Planning and Sustainable Development MA - 2023

Throughout my studies, the academic support has been outstanding. The classroom atmosphere was consistently friendly, and the tutors were approachable and supportive.

Site Diary Module

A collaboration between the School of Architecture and Cities and the Westminster Centre for Education and Teaching Innovation, the Site Diary module offers our second-year architecture students the opportunity to gain real-world experience by engaging directly with live construction sites in London. Rather than staying within university studios, students independently contact architectural practices and shadow professionals, observing the transition from design to construction. The module helps students understand the practical, day-to-day aspects of being an architect, build professional relationships, and bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world practice, preparing them for working in architecture firms after graduation.
