Terms and Conditions 2024/25 and 2025/26
1. To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following conditions.
- Course offer for a place on a full-time taught programme for the 2024/25 academic year
- Assessed as Overseas student for fee purposes
- New entrants only - current and former students at the University of Westminster are not eligible to apply
2. The scholarship is awarded for the first academic year of study only towards tuition fees. Students must pay the full cost of tuition in subsequent years of study.
3. The scholarship will be paid directly to the University’s Finance Offices on behalf of the student by the Scholarships office toward tuition fees within the first semester.
4. All decisions are made by the scholarship panel and are final. Any applications submitted after the published deadline will not be considered. Please note we are unable to provide individual feedback.
5. You can only be awarded one scholarship.
6. Scholarships cannot be deferred to another academic year.
7. If an awardee decides to change programmes, the student will be entitled to keep the scholarship provided that the new course and mode of study meets the eligibility criteria. All changes must be approved by the Scholarships Office beforehand.
8. The following categories of students are not eligible:
a. Postgraduate Diploma
b. Professional courses (eg RIBA pt III, ACCA, CIMA, CiLEX)
c. Conversion courses (eg Graduate Diploma in Law)
d. Integrated Masters/MPhil/PhD student
e. Part time students
9. Recipients of this award are expected to participate in university promotional activities, attendance at university events and the annual scholarship reception.
University of Westminster reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
