Great Start tour of Cavendish Campus transcript

Hi I'm Greg Flucker and this is Great Start TV.

In this episode, I'm at Cavendish Campus to give you the inside look.

At this campus we have the Schools of Life Sciences and Electronics and Computer Sciences.

The three-storey library at this campus has everything you need to complete your studies effectively, from group study rooms like this to individual silent zones.

After a recent campaign, this library now operates 24/7 during term time.

The School of Electronics and Computer Sciences are based here in the Copland building, named after our former Vice-Chancellor Geoffrey Copland.

Although this building is part of the Cavendish Campus it does have its own Registry Office, so make sure you submit coursework to the right office to make sure your tutors get your work on time.

The Polyclinic is also located here at Cavendish, where all students can make use of the alternative therapies on offer including acupuncture and massage.

For even more relaxation you can come here to the terrace which is especially nice on a warm summer day. Believe it or not we do actually get them here in London!

I’m here on Goodge Street which is the perfect place to come after a hard day's classes.

This area is full of bars, shops and restaurants to ensure you can wind down after you’ve been a bit stressed out all day.
