Modules

Module Choices For Visiting Exchange Students from one of our Partner Institutions

  • As a visiting exchange student from one of our partner institutions you are able to take modules in the Faculty and/or department that we have an agreement with your home institution for.
  • Which modules you can take will also depend on the Faculty/School/Department you are coming from, that is, what degree you are studying in at your home institution.
  • As a visiting exchange student you are able to take a maximum of 3 modules a semester up to the UK credit value of 60 UK credits. The credit value of the module is listed in the module catalogue.
  • Please also remember that in order to be accepted as a visiting exchange student at the University of Westminster you must first be nominated as a student and accepted onto the exchange programme. Please also bear in mind that nomination does not imply automatic acceptance to the programme.

If we do not have an exchange agreement with your institution it will not be listed here and you are not eligible to study as a visiting exchange student. You are still able to come to study via our fee paying study abroad programme. For details of the study abroad options open to visiting students please visit our Study Abroad page.

Please note that the following Incoming Exchange module catalogues are issued on the express condition that all matters in them are subject to change from time to time. In particular, while the University of Westminster will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver courses, programmes of study and other educational services, circumstances may change.

The University of Westminster reserves the right at any time to vary the content and delivery of courses, to change the location of courses and modules, to discontinue or combine courses, or to discontinue services, if such action is reasonably considered necessary by the University of Westminster.

How to Choose Your Modules

  1. Download the module information sheet to check which modules you are able to study
  2. Look at the module catalogues for the subject area you are able to study which are listed by Faculty and are downloadable PDFs
  3. Once you have selected your module choices list them on your application to study with us. You must provide at least six choices per semester (three preferred and three alternative choices) to account for any changes in the module offering, timetable clashes or modules being oversubscribed.
