Where are my results published?
Your confirmed marks for individual modules are published on My Student Record.
Provisional results, which have not been ratified by an Assessment Board, may also be displayed on My Student Record. These are marked by an asterisk (*).
Blackboard’s gradebook will publish your provisional marks, but will not show confirmed marks, these are always published on My Student Record.
All students will receive an email to their University email account directing them to My Student Record to view their results after their confirmed results are published. My Student Record includes a ‘Help’ section to explain how to read your module profile and results. Further guidance on what to do next is provided on our Understanding your results page. It is important that you read the guidance as it includes more information if you have a referral or deferral opportunity, and when this work is due to be submitted. Results cannot be released over the telephone.
Final year students
If you're a final year student, a transcript of results will be posted to your home address following the assessment boards, so make sure we have the right home address for you on My Student Record.
The transcript shows all the modules you've successfully completed and also states the final award and classification you've achieved. Your award certificate will be posted to your home address following the assessment boards.
Note that if you've not paid all your fees, you won't be able to access your results and should contact the Credit Control team as soon as possible.
When are my results published?
Results for each semester will be published as indicated within the University Calendar.
For a period prior to Assessment Boards when marking and moderation is taking place, the University will operate an embargo of results. This means that during this period you'll not be able to view your marks in My Student Record, until they have been ratified by an Assessment Board. You'll receive an email to your University email account alerting you that your confirmed results are available after publication.
It's vital that you view your results in good time and within five working days of the official results publication dates.
If you've not received an email or not been able to access your results in My Student Record within five working days of the publication date, contact the Student Centre.

If you have any queries
In the first instance, please contact the Student Centre. If they are unable to answer your query, they can refer you to the Registry for advice. Please note we cannot release results over the phone to you, so it may be necessary to arrange an appointment for you to see someone that can help, or to arrange a call back.
If you have received confirmed marks and you believe that a material irregularity has occurred in the assessment process, you may be able to submit an academic appeal. Details of the academic appeal procedure and deadlines can be found on our Academic appeals page.
