Our libraries

Welcome to The Library and Archives Service. In response to circumstances surrounding COVID-19 our services are currently running predominantly online. Harrow, Marylebone and Cavendish Libraries will open with a limited number of study spaces.

We offer access to a broad range of electronic resources but we know that our users also need to access hard copies of texts. We’re therefore providing a book collection service for items that aren’t available online. Postal loans are available for disabled users and those who experience difficulties reading items online.

We have designed a Guide to Library Services During COVID-19 where you will find all the information you need about using and accessing services, collections and help during this time.

Library guides and support

Our Library Guides website provides detailed information and links to helpful books, journals, websites and other resources specific to your course or subject.

The guides are maintained by our Academic Liaison Librarians, who can also provide tailored advice and support on:

  • using our Library Search
  • researching your assignments
  • referencing and plagiarism
  • using databases effectively
  • creating reading lists
