Entry requirements

Applying for a course

If you are interested in studying for a Bachelor's degree (eg a BA, BSc, BEng or LLB) at the University of Westminster, you will need to check that you meet our entry requirements.

We have included typical entry requirements below, but these are simply a guideline. Some courses may also have specific subject or grade requirements, which will be listed on individual course pages.

You will typically need to have the following:

  • Erettségi / Matura with a minimum score of 3 out of 5 maximum (NB: intermediate level 50-59%), (advanced level 40-46%)

If your qualifications are not listed above, you may still be able to apply for entry to our courses – just get in touch with our course enquiries team via the contact details at the bottom of this page.

English language requirements

The English language requirements for our courses are provided on individual course pages as minimum IELTS scores.

Note that if you achieve Advanced level of 4 within your Erettségi / Matura for English Language then this is equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
