Airport meet and greet

University of Westminster representatives will be at Heathrow airport before the start of term to meet arriving international students and help them travel to their University accommodation. There will be a free bus service or taxi service for students staying in University halls of residence.

To take advantage of the service, you'll need to sign up for it in advance. Booking for the Meet and Greet is now closed.

If you will not be using the Heathrow Meet and Greet service, visit our Travelling from the airport webpage for tips on how to get to central London when you arrive.

When will representatives be at Heathrow Airport?

There will be representatives at the airport in terminal 3 from 8am to 7pm Saturday 16 September 2017. Please check this website for further updates.

We recommend that you:

How can I book to be met at Heathrow Airport?

Booking for the Meet and Greet is now closed.

How long will the trip to your Hall of Residence take?

The University will be picking up students at different times and not all students will be travelling to the same halls of residence. You will have to wait at the airport for a coach or taxi to leave and could be travelling to a few halls of residence so could have a longer than average journey.

We thoroughly recommend that you attend the International Student Welcome Programme where you will meet other new International Students, have many of your questions answered and explore London. You will also be able to enrol for your course early. See the website for more details and to book your place.

How much baggage can I bring?

You can bring 2 bags of 20kg. If you bring more (including lots of hand luggage) then we may not be able to fit you into your designated taxi/coach and we will help you order your own taxi which you will need to pay for.
