CLASS Scholarship – £1000

If you are a Level 5 full time undergraduate Home student with financial need you could be eligible to apply for the CLASS scholarship. The Scholarships provide a one-off payment of £1000 towards maintenance costs.

Living Expenses Support Scheme (LESS)

The scheme aims to help UK undergraduate and postgraduate students with an additional grant that can be used to meet any maintenance needs, such as rental costs, travel costs, childcare costs or day-to-day costs.

The scheme cannot be used to pay tuition fees and to be eligible, you need to have taken out the maximum student support available from Student Finance including the maintenance loan.

Care Leaver Bursary – £750

If you're a UK undergraduate student, you can apply for a University Care Leavers' Bursary for each year of academic study. You must provide evidence from your Local Authority that you are a care leaver.

Estranged Students' Bursary

If you're under the age of 25 and have been classified as an independent student on the grounds of estrangement by Student Finance England, you may be eligible to apply for a University bursary.

Global Experience Bursary – from £500 upwards

The University of Westminster’s Student Mobility Team offers funding to support undergraduate and postgraduate students in undertaking short-term study, research, work, or volunteering opportunities abroad. The funding is in place to ensure that all students, regardless of their programme of study or their personal situation, can receive support to help them achieve an international experience.

Santander Universities Brighter Futures Grants

Santander Universities is offering Brighter Futures Grants to support as many students as possible through their educational journey and help ease living costs.

The grants can be used to support your university experience, i.e. on learning resources, or can go towards the cost of accommodation or bills to help you out with living expenses.

Employability Award – various amounts

The Westminster Employability Award is an employability achievement award supporting your career and personal development by formally recognising the extra-curricular activities you complete during your time at the University of Westminster.
