Paying your fees

You can pay your fees through a number of different payment methods, including via instalments where appropriate.

Sandwich year fees

If you're taking a year out or going on a full-year exchange, 15% of the annual fee will be charged for 2018/19.

Full-time undergraduate fees for 2018/19

Home or EU students

If you're a full-time student who began your studies in Level 4, your 2018/19 fee will be as follows, based on your start year:

  • 2011/12 and earlier start – £3,465
  • 2012/13 start – please see below for information
  • 2013/14 start – £9,000
  • 2014/15 start – £9,000
  • 2015/16 start – £9,000
  • 2016/17 start – £9,000
  • 2017/18 start – £9,250

If you started your studies in 2012/13, your 2018/19 fee will be as follows:

  • Architecture and the Built Environment - Architecture: £9,000
  • Architecture and the Built Environment - except Architecture: £8,000
  • Electronics and Computer Science - except Electronic Networks and Computer Engineering: £7,500
  • Electronics and Computer Science - Electronic Networks and Computer Engineering: £8,500
  • Law: £8,000
  • Life Sciences: £8,500
  • Media, Arts and Design: £9,000
  • Social Sciences, Humanities and Languages: £7,500
  • Westminster Business School: £8,000
     

Overseas students

As a continuing overseas student, your 2018/19 tuition fee will be £12,750.

Home or EU students

20-credit modules

You may take a maximum of 100 credits (five 20-credit modules) in an academic year.  

The 2018/19 fee for each 20-credit module will be as follows, based on your start year:

  • 2017/18 start - £1,540 per 20-credit module
  • 2016/17 start - £1,500 per 20-credit module
  • 2015/16 start - £1,500 per 20-credit module
  • 2014/15 start - £1,500 per 20-credit module

15-credit modules

If you studied under the 15-credit module framework in 2016/17 or earlier, you may take a maximum of 90 credits (six 15-credit modules) in an academic year.

The 2018/19 fee for each 15-credit module will be as follows, based on your start year:

    • 2016/17 start – £1,125 per 15-credit module
    • 2015/16 start – £1,125 per 15-credit module
    • 2014/15 start - £1,125 per 15-credit module
    • 2013/14 start – £1,125 per 15-credit module
    • 2012/13 start and earlier – please check with your Registry

    Overseas students

    If you're a continuing overseas student, the 2018/19 fee for each 20-credit module will be £2,125.
