We are offering up to 40 scholarships to eligible Clearing applicants to help you with your studies in September 2019.
£1500 per year (maximum of three years), totalling £4500 for each scholar. This can be taken either as a cash award in January in each year of study towards living expenses, or money towards your tuition fees.
The Clearing scholarship is only available for A level and International Baccalaureate (IB) students. Equivalent grades in alternative qualifications are not eligible. Only students entering the University in the first year of study (Level 4) are eligible. Students who are already Westminster offer-holders before 1 July are not eligible for the Clearing scholarships.
Students must have achieved a minimum of one grade higher (A Level) or one point higher (IB) than the standard published entry requirements. Achieving these grades does not guarantee the awarding of a scholarship, which is also dependent on a telephone/Skype interview. Scholarships are awarded to students subject to satisfactory academic progress during their studies.
To be eligible to apply, students must request to be considered for the scholarship by no later than 31 August. There is no guarantee that scholarships will remain on offer until that date due to expected high demand, and so we recommend applying as soon as possible.
How to apply
To apply for the Clearing scholarship, please email [email protected] letting them know that you wish to be considered and include 'Clearing Scholarship' in the subject line. You will then be contacted to arrange a telephone/Skype interview.
