Clearing is now open. Find out the key things to know and how to apply for a course as an international student.
What is Clearing?
Clearing is a part of the UK’s application process run by UCAS. It helps students find and apply for courses that still have places available.
You can use Clearing if:
- your results weren't what you expected
- you didn’t receive any offers
- you received offers you don’t want to accept
- you’ve changed your mind about what or where you want to study
- you’re applying after 30 June 2026
Who is eligible?
You can apply through Clearing if you're a:
- UK student
- International student
- EU/EEA student
If you’re a Kaplan Foundation Student, you can get advice on applying to Westminster through Clearing by speaking with your college adviser or emailing [email protected].
What courses can I apply for?
Clearing is only available for undergraduate courses. To see what courses you can apply for, see our Courses in Clearing page.
If you need a Student visa to study at Westminster, you’ll only be able to apply for full-time courses.
If you’re looking to apply for an International Foundation programme, you won’t be able to do this through Clearing. For details on your options, see our University preparation courses page.
How to apply
The Clearing application deadline for international students is 14 August 2026.
