The Virtual Research Environment (VRE) is the Graduate School’s online system that allows you to manage your doctoral researcher record from anywhere in the world.

Part of the VRE is used to manage the administrative processes associated with the doctoral researcher life-cycle which includes:

  • Examination Arrangements
  • Research Supervision Logs
  • Annual Progress Reviews
  • Upgrade from MPhil to PhD
  • Ethics Applications

The other function of the VRE is to manage your personal development and engagement with our Doctoral Researcher Development Programme (DRDP). This includes:

  • Invitations to workshops
  • Workshop timetable
  • Record of workshops you have attended
  • DRDP Reflective Records
  • Personal folder to record developmental activity
  • Research location

Please use your University of Westminster ID and password to log in to the VRE.
