Support within the University
- Personal Tutor – Your first point of contact if you are worried, unwell, or need specialist support. They can refer you to a Wellbeing Adviser.

If home is not a safe space
If you ever feel unsafe at home, it’s important to reach out for support — you do not have to face this alone.
At the University, you can talk in confidence to:
- Your personal tutor – a trusted first point of contact
 - The Students’ Union Advice Service – independent advice and guidance
 - Our counselling and mental health service – a safe space to talk to trained professionals
 - A Wellbeing Adviser – accessible via referral from your tutor
 
We can work with you to arrange:
- Temporary or emergency accommodation
 - Emotional and practical support
 - Safe places on campus where you can study and feel secure
