Our long history in China means that we have a strong and active alumni network with over 1,600 registered alumni.
Alumni are located across China, particularly in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
The Westminster China Alumni Network is headed up by alumni volunteers who are active in organising events, creating networking opportunities and engaging in recruitment activities for prospective students.
Northern China
President
Fei Wang (Interactive Media Practice MA, 2021)
Fei graduated from the University of Westminster in 2021 with an MA in Interactive Media Practice. Since graduating, she has built a career across digital products, technology and operations, working with international organisations and exploring how technology and AI can create more effective and user-centred experiences.
As President for Northern China, Fei hopes to bring Westminster alumni across the region closer together by creating opportunities to connect, share experiences and build meaningful relationships. Her goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive alumni community where people can stay connected and keep the Westminster connection alive long after graduation.
Eastern China

Sherley Sun (Marketing Communications MA, 2018)
Sherley Sun is the manager of InnoLab at CEIBS (China Europe International Business School), an innovation and entrepreneurship hub that bridges start-ups, venture capitals and industry leaders to transform bold ideas into impactful ventures.
Prior to joining CEIBS, Sherley built an 8-year career in marketing communications and brand strategy, partnering with global brands including Amazon, Flexport, Rado, and Bedsure to drive growth across China and international markets. Her expertise spans B2B and B2C, from orchestrating viral KOL campaigns and high-profile CIIE activations to developing culturally resonant brand narratives.
Sherley holds an MBA from CEIBS and completed an exchange program at IESE Business School in Barcelona. She earned her MA in Marketing Communications from the University of Westminster in London with Distinction, receiving the Simon Foster Media Prize for her thesis.
Southern China
The Southern China network is headed up by a committee of alumni volunteers who are active in organising events, creating networking opportunities and engaging in recruitment activities for prospective students.

Xi Chen (Public Relations MA, 2017)
Xi Chen is a university tutor at the Guangzhou College of Technology and Business. He is dedicated to supporting students with their goal of studying abroad in the UK.
Committee members
- Shane Hsu graduated in 2017 from Westminster Business School. Shane is the founder of Radiance Ltd which has a focus on smart city integration services, social media and branding communications, and wealth management consulting.
- Kira Qiu graduated in 2014 with a master’s degree from the University of Westminster. Kira is the Founder and CEO of the fashion brand Kira&Yanng.
- Yun Zheng is currently pursuing a PhD at the City University of Macau and also works as a teacher at Dongguan City College.
