The Mrs. M Education Fund is a maintenance bursary awarded to outstanding female students in their final year of study in the fields of Media, Accounting, Law, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources (HR), and Computer Science. Established in loving memory of Mrs. M, this bursary honours her legacy of empowering women and breaking down barriers such as the "glass ceiling."
Amount
Three eligible students will receive a one-off grant of £2,000 during their final year.
Eligibility criteria
To be considered for this award, applicants must:
- Be fully enrolled in Level 6 at the University of Westminster for the 2025–26 academic year, in one of the following courses:
- Media
- Accounting
- Law
- Finance
- Marketing
- Digital Marketing
- Human Resources (HR)
- Computer Science
- Artificial Intelligence BSc Honours
- Business Computing BSc Honours
- Business Computing with Foundation BSc Honours
- Computer Games Development BSc Honours
- Computer Games Development with Foundation BSc Honours
- Computer Science BSc Honours • Computer Science with Foundation BSc Honours
- Creative Computing BSc Honours
- Creative Computing with Foundation BSc Honours
- Cyber Security and Forensics BSc Honours
- Cyber Security and Forensics with Foundation BSc Honours
- Data Science and Analytics BSc Honours
- Data Science and Analytics with Foundation BSc Honours
- Software Engineering BEng Honours
- Software Engineering with Electronics BEng Honours
- Software Engineering with Electronics with Foundation BEng Honours
- Software Engineering with Foundation BEng Honours
- Be in receipt of a full undergraduate student loan (including maintenance funding) from the Student Loans Company for 2025/26.
- Have a household income of less than £25,000 per annum.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Be the first in their family to attend university (parents only; siblings excluded).
- Be a female home-fee-paying student.
- Please note: part-time module retrievers are not eligible to apply.
