The Mrs M’s Education Fund is a maintenance bursary awarded to outstanding female students from the Media, Accounting, Law, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources (HR) Computer Science programs in their final year of study. Established in loving memory of Mrs M, this bursary honours her legacy of empowering women and breaking down barriers like the "glass door."
Amount
Three eligible students will receive a one-off grant of £2,000 during their final year.
Eligibility criteria
To be considered for this award, applicants must:
- Be fully enrolled in Level 6 at the University of Westminster for the 2026–27 academic year, in one of the following courses:
- Media
- Accounting
- Law
- Finance
- Marketing
- Human Resources (HR)
- Computer Science
- You must be in receipt of your full undergraduate student loan (including maintenance-based funding) from Student Loans Company for 2026–27 and have a household income of less than £25,000 per annum
- You must demonstrate financial need
- First in your family to attend university, with reference only to parents (siblings excluded).
- Open to female home fee-paying students only
- Part-time module retrievers are not eligible to apply
