How to complete enrolment
Before you can join the University of Westminster as an undergraduate or postgraduate student, you need to complete the online Student Virtual Enrolment Task to confirm your personal details and your intentions to enrol on your chosen course.
When your application record is ready for you to enrol, you'll receive an email called ‘enrol now’. This will take you to the Applicant Portal where you'll be able to access the Student Virtual Enrolment Task.
If you notice that any of your details are incorrect, you can notify the Admissions Office during the task.
If you are a self-funding student, you can pay your fees online during this stage.
Once you have completed the Student Virtual Enrolment, you'll receive an email explaining the next step.
To access the Student Virtual Enrolment Task follow these steps:
Please note, access is only available once you have received the 'enrol now' email.
- Log in to the Applicant Portal. If you have not yet created your University password then you must do this first. You can find your username in your 'enrol now' email.
- Once you are logged in, select the Student Virtual Enrolment tab. If you are using a mobile device, you need to click on the menu icon first. The menu icon is three horizontal lines at the top of the page. If you are using a desktop device, you may need to select the + icon first to view the Virtual Enrolment tab. If you can’t see the Student Virtual Enrolment tab at the top of the screen when you log in to the Applicant Portal, get in touch with us via the Contact Us tab.
- Once you have entered the Student Virtual Enrolment Task, on the first page you will see a list of the steps the task goes through. Under the list is the 'enrol now' link. Select this to begin enrolment.
If you have declared that you are a non-UK national during your application, you will be required to complete our ‘visa check’. You must do this before you can start the Student Virtual Enrolment Task. If you are required to complete the visa check you will be prompted to do so in the Applicant Portal.
