Tuesday 10 October is World Mental Health Day. The theme for this year is ‘Mental health is a universal human right’, which emphasizes the significance of nurturing our minds and hearts.

Life as a student can be both fulfilling and demanding. But here's one secret; find that perfect study-life balance. We're all different, with unique needs, so discovering what works best for you is key.

It’s essential to find a balance that works for you, acknowledging that we all have different needs.

Consider exploring your mental wellness by Taking Small Steps. These steps might offer you a sense of positivity and help you navigate the challenges of life.

Remember, your wellbeing is at the core of your journey to success. As we observe World Mental Health Day, let’s embrace this opportunity to prioritize our mental health and support one another.

Activities on the day

Join us this World Mental Health Day at Harrow and Marylebone Campus to connect with each other in our Branching Out Activity, where we will share tips on mental wellbeing, discover new techniques and soak up positive affirmations. Together, we can address the stigma surrounding mental health.

Student support services are available to support you with looking after your mental and emotional wellbeing.

Keep an eye on the Student Hub and the Students’ Union events page to access wellbeing workshops and events taking place during the day and throughout the year.
