We provide free legal advice to the public in the areas of housing, family, employment, personal injury, contested probate and immigration law.
What we offer
We provide a 45-minute appointment with our law student advisors, who will discuss your legal issue in detail. Appointments are available in person at our central London offices, online, or by phone.
Please note: we do not give legal advice during the appointment itself. Following your appointment, you will receive a legal advice letter within 21 days.
All advice is researched and drafted by our law students and supervised by a qualified, practising family solicitor or barrister. This ensures that the advice you receive is accurate and tailored to your specific circumstances.
We do not offer on-going legal advice, ‘take on’ your case as a solicitor would, or advocate on your behalf at court. However, you are welcome to book another appointment if you require further advice.
Who's eligible
We prioritise people who are not eligible for legal aid and who cannot afford to pay privately for a solicitor.
We accept referrals from support organisations (legal and non-legal) and self-referrals.

Testimonial from one of our clients
Annie and the team from the Clinic have been absolutely amazing and have literally saved my life by helping me reach British Citizenship which has been an issue for me since the 1960’s. Communication was great, along with the empathy the team portrayed.
