Welcome to Westminster Business School

Our mission is to transform the prospects and lives of our students by equipping them with the knowledge, skills and mind-set required to succeed in management in a wide range of organisations.

As one of the largest and most experienced providers of business and management education in London, we are distinctive in a number of ways. We are well-known for our practical and applied teaching, rooted in our 180-year history.  Our programmes enjoy the recognition, endorsement and accreditation of a wide range of national and international professional bodies. Our community of around 4,400 students brings together one of the most diverse populations of any business school in the UK – offering a unique preparation for operating in a global context. We occupy an enviable location in the heart of London, providing our students with access to the very best business and social opportunities that any international city can offer.

We offer courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive level, and across a wide range of disciplines and sectors. These include broad-based degrees in management, digital business and international business, alongside more specialised programmes in marketing, accounting, finance, HRM, economics, entrepreneurship, project management, construction, property management, development and investment, and purchasing and supply chain management. All courses are designed with regard to the expectations of employers and the professions, and we complement our courses with an exceptional range of extra-curricular opportunities to enhance the experience and skills of our students. These additional opportunities include internships, personal development activities and the chance to travel, study and work abroad or to launch a new business. In 2018, the UK Institute for Fiscal Studies and the Department for Employment ranked Westminster Business School’s degrees at 20th in the UK (4th in London) in terms of their labour market return, as measured by earnings and employment five years after graduation.

We contribute to the development and improvement of businesses and a wide range of other organisations by providing executive training for practising managers.  We are particularly well-known for our executive courses in Project Management, Agile, Prince2, Digital Marketing, ACCA Preparation, Property Surveying and Management and Leadership Development.

We also contribute to the development of business practice and government policy through applied research. Our highly regarded Centre for Employment Research contributes significantly to public policy, and we also generate new thinking in areas of finance, accounting, marketing, consumer behaviour, human resource management, leadership, sustainability, new enterprise, economics, business strategy and international development.
