The Reading Group Series is a programme of events hosted by the Centre for Law, Gender, Race and Sexuality with the aim of opening up discussions around the intersection of law, gender, race and sexuality by reading a book or a chapter of a book which prompts discussion of these themes. The group will be run by specialist academics and attendees can expect relaxed, open yet stimulating discussions on the readings we set. The series is part of the centre's strategy to bring together scholars, activists and thinkers more generally in a safe yet challenging space to discuss exciting and provocative books, while gaining a greater insight into the lived experience, of law, race, gender and sexuality.
