Archana Chandrasekar, Dr Daphne Economou, Jon Cope, Iwona Abrams and Nicola Mansfield from the University’s College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries (DCDI), as well as Dr Jan Wilcox and Dr Kanyanee Ingsa from the Westminster Business School (WBS), delivered masterclasses, lectures and workshops that were designed to reflect the curriculum, coursework and teaching style of Westminster. Westminster had the highest number of academics from the various universities in the United Kingdom that formed the international delegation, allowing its academics to cover a wide range of topics.

ATLAS SkillTech University is India’s first urban, multidisciplinary university. ATLAS’s research focuses on three streams: Design & Innovation, Management & Entrepreneurship and Digital Technology. These streams closely align to some of Westminster’s areas of academic excellence.

Iwona Abrams, Senior Lecturer in the School of Media and Communications in DCDI, said: “It is impressive to see the level of conversation the students of ATLAS SkillTech University have been able to engage in and the personal connect they have established with us in such a short span of time.
“It clearly demonstrated that this initiative is a two-way exchange and while it will enable the students with international academic experiences, it will also be a unique opportunity for our faculty to find great takeaways from these young and bright ATLAS students.”

Kamalini Sivagurunathan, Associate Head of DCDI at the University, said: “I would like to thank ATLAS for this excellent opportunity for international collaboration and our academics for showcasing the excellence of Westminster’s teaching and research with new international audiences, helping the University to form a strong partnership with ATLAS.”
