The University of Westminster welcomed a delegation from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Thailand, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, marking an important step in establishing ties between the two institutions and strengthening Westminster’s profile in the region.

During the visit the Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University delegation, led by the University’s President Dr Kanakorn Sawangcharoen, met with Westminster colleagues at the historic Regent Street Campus to discuss partnership opportunities between the institutions. This included Professor Dibyesh Anand, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement and Employability; Stephen Wallis, Director of Transnational Education and Global Engagement; Dr Panos Hahamis, Senior Lecturer at Westminster Business School; and Rebecca Shonfeld, International Partnerships Officer.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both universities to share overviews of their institutional profiles, academic strengths and priorities. Discussions centred on identifying areas of potential collaboration which included research opportunities, faculty and student exchange, and co-organising international conferences.
The visit concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which formally established the partnership between the universities. The MoU reflects both institutions’ commitment to exploring collaborative opportunities that will benefit both colleagues and students.
