Ambassador recruiting process and training
Recruitment for Student Ambassadors occurs twice a year, at the beginning of each semester. Once selected, Ambassadors are required to undergo a rigorous training program that covers:
- Programme structure: An overview of the Student Ambassador Programme, including its goals, structure, and the expectations placed on Ambassadors.
- Professional conduct: Guidelines on behaviour, professionalism, and representing the university’s core values. This includes the programme’s Code of Conduct and tips on handling various situations with maturity and respect.
- Communication skills: Development of key communication skills, including public speaking, customer service, and peer mentoring.
- Campus knowledge: Ambassadors receive a comprehensive overview of campus facilities, services, and spaces, ensuring they can guide visitors effectively and answer any questions that may arise.
