Join us for an exciting course welcome event where you'll meet fellow students, explore new opportunities, and kick-start an incredible learning journey!

Walking Tour of Westminster and Marylebone
3–5pm
As part of your first day at Westminster, join our School’s leaders for a Tour of Marylebone to Westminster. As part of this tour, you will be able to orientate yourself to our campus location in London and receive a tour that begins at the University and ends at the Houses of Parliament. Please join us for this complementary trip to London as your campus.
Please meet at the Marylebone Reception (Learning Platform) at 3pm
Please note the tour will depart at 3.15pm where the group will be walking across London from Marylebone via Marylebone High Street to central London. Please arrive on time to not miss this walking tour.
Academic study skills workshop
1.30–3pm
Studying in university is different to what you experienced before, either if you studied in the UK or elsewhere. This online event allows you to develop the academic skills you will need during your studies and gain insight into the type of assessment you will encounter.

Westminster Business School Welcome Event
4.30pm
Join us for the Westminster Business School Welcome Event, created especially for our new students, featuring an inspiring talk from our guest speaker, Tom Toumazis MBE – entrepreneur, investor, TEDx speaker and business leader who has helped shape some of the world’s biggest media and technology brands, including Disney and Yahoo!.
Alongside a welcome from our Head of College, Tom will share his inspiring journey from leading global organisations to using his skills and experience to make a positive difference. Awarded an MBE for his services to children through his work with the NSPCC and Childline, Tom’s career is proof that success isn’t just about business – it’s about using your skills to create opportunities and make a positive difference.
The event will bring together new students, course leaders and members of the Business School community as you begin your journey at Westminster Business School. Hear from an inspiring business leader, connect with your peers, and start your university experience with insight, ambition and confidence.

This event will introduce our new postgraduate students to our Bloomberg Suites, to train our students in foundational knowledge to support your later studies. Thes session will also be an opportunity to meet fellow students and staff of Westminster Business School.

Walking Tour of City of London
2.30–4.30pm
As part of your first week at Westminster, join our School’s leaders for a Tour of London's Finance Sector - the City of London. For this tour, please meet on Campus at 2:30pm or at 3pm at Liverpool Street Station outside Marks & Spencer Food (inside the train station) for this walking tour, where staff will guide students until around 5pm.
