Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

I chose University of Westminster because it provided an experience that helped develop my personal and professional skills. Also, the university offers a lot of cultural diversity which means getting a chance to enjoy a whole different set of cultural and social activities. 

How has your experience been studying in London?

Studying in London has been a dream for me, so coming here and getting a chance to study at Westminster has been really great. The city offers a lot of opportunities which might not be available elsewhere. I’ve been able to gain more confidence in what I am doing and get clarity on how to move forward in my career. 

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

At first deciding on a course was very difficult, but then I came across the Digital Marketing Management MSc at the University of Westminster and I thought why not? 

Choosing this course was one of the best decisions I've ever made. This course not only provides you with the best of studies but also lets you gain hands-on experience of what the professional world holds for you. 

Anyone who is looking to study at the university of Westminster should definitely give this course a thought because you'll not only be learning and gaining experience but also having fun along the way too. 

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

I was unwell before flying out so I joined my course quite late. Given the situation, I was very nervous on how I would be able to catch up on my studies but fortunately all the professors were extremely helpful in making me feel comfortable and guiding me through the way. 

The lecturers not only helped me catch up on my studies but also provided their help and guidance on the whole course as well. In no time I was able to speed up and be a part of the class as everyone else. 

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

As a part of Digital Marketing Management MSc you will be able to experience real-world scenarios. There are multiple facilities associated with this course which allow you to gain experience on how to write blogs, run real-time simulations, create websites and be part of creative projects that really help you out in future and would definitely be a prominent feature on your CV. 

Tell us about your experience of using the University Careers and Employability Service 

The University of Westminster help students with finding the right opportunity for themselves by providing various career employability opportunities. They also provide  students with the opportunity to learn and develop skills needed in the professional world, for example LinkedIn training and advice related to CV building.

I personally have been able to interact with one of my mentors on how I can build my CV and how I can actually make use of LinkedIn learning. My course leader has also helped me find an internship which is adding to my expertise and towards building my career path.. 

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course 

I've been able to make use of the educational knowledge that I gained in my first few months of studies by creating a website for a client. This has been the most amazing experience as I was able to do something that I am learning and implement it in the real world. 

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

The University of Westminster offers a very friendly yet professional environment to all their students. The University also gives students the chance to develop and gain hands-on experience related to the real world. 

Students are provided with a lot of professional and personal support. With correct use of the advanced resources and technology available on campus, students can develop themselves and go a long way in their career. 

What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?

Studying in a different country is really overwhelming but Westminster makes sure students feel right at home by providing academic, professional and personal support and guidance. It is very easy to reach out to someone for help as there's always someone who is willing to help you out and simultaneously guide you. 

What was the most surprising or unexpected aspect of your Westminster experience?

The most unexpected aspect for me at Westminster was that I was able to stay in the library to study for as long as I wanted and nobody would actually come and disturb me. Not only that, but you could also access the computer with all the latest and premium softwares to help you with your work.
