Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

I chose the University of Westminster because its values of being progressive, compassionate, and responsible aligned with what I was looking for, and the course offered matched my academic and career goals. I was drawn to its innovative teaching methods and inclusive environment, making it the ideal place for both personal and professional growth. This environment encouraged me to develop holistically and prepared me well for the future.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

I studied Business and Organisational Psychology and really enjoyed it because it closely matched my career interests. The lecturers were supportive and made the course genuinely engaging, which helped me stay motivated and excited to learn throughout the year. The practical applications and real-world case studies made the learning experience even more enriching.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

The lecturers are approachable, supportive, and willing to help at any time, whether it’s explaining concepts more clearly, offering feedback, or just being available when needed. Their encouragement really boosted my confidence and helped me stay on track with my studies. Their dedication made a significant difference in my academic journey.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

My advice would be to go for it! Westminster offers a supportive, inclusive environment with excellent teaching and real-world opportunities. Take advantage of the resources and experiences available; they can really enhance your time at university and prepare you for the future. Embracing these opportunities will help you grow both academically and personally.

What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?    

The best aspect of being a University of Westminster student for me is the library. It has both quiet areas for focused study and louder spaces for group work, so it’s easy to find the right environment depending on what I need. It’s a great place to concentrate or collaborate as needed.

What was the most surprising or unexpected aspect of your Westminster experience?

The most surprising part of my experience was how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The lecturers were especially supportive and accommodating, which made settling in and keeping up with my studies much easier than I expected. Their kindness created a positive atmosphere that made my university life much more enjoyable.
