What did you find most valuable about your course at Westminster?
The most valuable part of my course at Westminster was its strong international perspective and real-world marketing focus. It equipped me with essential skills in strategic thinking, consumer behaviour, and communication. Studying in a diverse environment also helped me develop a global mindset, which is key in my current role at Mercedes-Benz. These skills formed the foundation for my Master's at Imperial College and now support my work.
Why would you recommend Westminster as a place to study?
I would recommend Westminster for its strong academic support and practical approach to learning. The lecturers were always approachable and encouraged real-world thinking, which helped prepare me for my career. The diverse student community also made it an inspiring and enriching place to study.
What was the best thing about being a student in London?
The best thing about being a student in London was the access to endless opportunities—academically, professionally, and culturally. Being in a global hub allowed me to network, attend industry events, and gain insights from world-leading companies. Plus, the city’s diversity and energy made every day exciting and inspiring.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing a similar career to you?
My advice would be to build a strong foundation in marketing principles, but also focus on developing soft skills like communication and relationship management—they’re just as important. Gaining international experience or exposure to different cultures can be a big advantage, especially in global industries like automotive. Finally, be curious, stay adaptable, and never stop learning—those qualities have helped me grow the most in my career.
