Why did you choose the University of Westminster?
I chose the University of Westminster because of its ability to combine academic learning with hands-on, practical experience, particularly due to its close ties to the UK film and television industry.
One aspect I have especially valued during my time here is the freedom given to students to explore different areas of the industry (often ones we may not have considered) while also engaging in non academic activities through the university’s wide range of societies.
Tell us about your experience of living and studying in London
Living near central London has been an added advantage, as it allows students to fully experience both university life and the cultural and professional opportunities the city offers. Looking ahead, I believe the placement opportunities provided within my course will be invaluable, as they offer the chance to build meaningful connections and establish relationships within the industry before graduating.
What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?
At Westminster, I have met incredibly talented and inspiring individuals who have contributed greatly to my personal and professional growth, strengthening both my academic work and social experience. My advice to students planning to study in the UK is to take initiative. Explore everything your university has to offer and step outside your comfort zone. You never truly know what you are capable of until you give it a try.
