Graphic Design BA – 2026
I did a semester exchange in Year 2 in Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia). It was the best decision I could ever take because it truly pushed me to expand my network in a whole new place.
Why did you choose the University of Westminster?
After college I wanted to experience the university lifestyle in a course that I would enjoy and make the most of the opportunity. I found University of Westminster through a tutor who spoke highly of their design courses because of their facilities, classes, and overall enriching experience as a creative student in London.
How has your experience been studying in London?
One of a kind. I have grown professionally and personally beyond my expectations. I've made friends for life and connected with people that have had an impact in my perspective of the creative industry, wellness and lifestyle.
Tell us about your course and what have you particularly enjoyed?
One thing I enjoyed was the empowerment in making without judgment. I feel this embracement of 'mistakes' has allowed me to truly step out of a comfort zone I kept coming back to, and it has gradually directed me towards my genuine self and my style, my professional persona.
How have you found academic support as part of your studies?
They have helped in my development beyond making and have expanded my knowledge in the academic side of the industry. I believe it's important to have taken classes that may not be directly connected to my career path but still bring knowledge I will use in the professional world.
Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?
The printing facilities— 2D printing, risograph, textile printing, screen printing, laser cutting, and 3D printing. These spaces gave me the push to create thorough and experimental work and not be worried about budget or timing.
Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course
I did a semester exchange in Year 2 in Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia). It was the best decision I could ever take because it truly pushed me to expand my network in a whole new place, I got to know amazing creatives and professionals who taught me so much. I also had the opportunity to take classes in areas I'm interested in such as: Photography, Creative Direction and Creative Futures which enriched and strengthened my communication skills and helped me gain more experience in different creative disciplines.
What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?
Make the most of your personal and academic experience. Take risks and don't be afraid to make mistakes because you will surprise yourself even when it looks like it won't work out.
What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?
Being in a place where you can connect with people from all around the world and start building a life full of possibilities and new opportunities.
