How has your experience been studying in London?

It’s been amazing! Westminster offers some of the best facilities in the city, with state-of-the-art studios and equipment. The course’s comprehensive approach to music has given me practical skills that I’ve been able to apply directly in the real world.

Tell us about your course (what have you particularly enjoyed about the programme)?

I’ve really enjoyed the combination of excellent facilities and the in-depth coverage of multiple areas within music. It’s rare to find a course that balances both practical skills and theoretical knowledge so effectively.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

The studios and technical facilities are outstanding, they provide a professional environment that mirrors the real music industry.

Can you tell us about your current role and share a bit about your responsibilities?

I work as the Marketing and PR Manager for an indie label called RBK London. Recently, I also signed a single assignment deal with Def Jam India, making me the first-ever Telugu rapper to do so. My role involves managing campaigns, promoting artists, and building brand presence both locally and internationally.

How has your course prepared you for your current role and a career in your industry?

Westminster opened doors to incredible opportunities, like working on Boarders, a BBC TV drama. Experiences like this are invaluable, they enhance your portfolio and demonstrate how music can be a viable, rewarding career. The course equips students with both technical expertise and industry insight, giving me a strong foundation to excel in my role.

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course (e.g., trips, societies, competitions)?

Through the Westminster Working Culture program, I had the opportunity to travel to Egypt, gaining insights into international business practices and how cultural factors influence the way business operates. Experiences like this broaden your perspective and complement your academic learning.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

Success at Westminster requires initiative. Don’t expect opportunities to be handed to you—you get out of it what you put in. Make the most of the course, the facilities, and the networking opportunities, and you’ll see the results.
