Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

I was advised by a friend who had previously done her degree at Westminster and recommended it highly.

How has your experience been studying in London?

As I live in London, I've found it really convenient as the campus is easily accessible and near two stations on the underground.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

I really enjoyed the guests that have been a part of our curriculum, learning from people's experiences is one of the most useful ways for me to learn. Making connections with them and networking has been extremely beneficial for me and widened my career outlook.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

As someone returning to formal education after 8 years, I was really nervous but the support from the lecturers and module leaders has enabled me to be fully informed about what is required of me. Being able to book tutoring sessions and have teams calls from home when I've been stuck has been the lifeline I needed.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

The exclusive events have fueled us with further knowledge of the industry and access to individuals that are otherwise unreachable.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

Ask your module tutors and leaders for support, don't be afraid to pose questions as they often have the answers and if they don't, they'll introduce you to someone that will!

What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?

The professionalism of the lecturers, structure, the quality of learning and resources available via the e-library.

Other thoughts

I encourage speaking to your course leader ahead of signing up to get a real feel and understanding of the course and make sure it's for you. After speaking to the course leader, I knew that the Music Business Management MA was for me and I'm so happy I took the step and did it!
