Business Management (Entrepreneurship) BA- 2022 (expected)

Undoubtedly, the best part of my course has been the people I've met. After three incredible years at Westminster, I have at least a friend in every continent of the world

Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

I wanted to join Westminster as the University provides both a global perspective and a wide array of skills to students from all around the globe. In addition, apart from offering a top-tier education, Westminster is located in the heart of London, offering its students the possibility to explore one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world.

How has your experience been studying in London?

When I left home to study in London, initially, I felt overwhelmed. However, at Westminster I’ve always felt supported. As a melting pot of cultures, London has enriched me intellectually and made me feel like my voice matters as part of an international community. In the city, as well as at Westminster, I found that everyone has different opinions and they’re valued and challenged in a constructive way.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

Undoubtedly, the best part of my course has been the people I've met. After three incredible years at Westminster, I have at least one friend in every continent of the world. Since I’ve started my Business Management (Entrepreneurship) BA, I’ve learnt so much from those around me not only academically but also socially.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

Particularly during my first year, I experienced numerous academic-related challenges. Mainly thanks to the help of my lecturers, I have been able to overcome these challenges over the years, ultimately improving not only my academic results but also the quality of my learning experience.

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course

During my three years at Westminster, I have had many opportunities for personal and professional growth. For instance, I have been one of the Course Representatives during first and second year. Furthermore, between my second and third year, I have been given the opportunity to join Copenhagen Business School for a summer course in economics. These experiences, plus many others, have enriched my cultural heritage, making me better positioned to affirm myself as a professional.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

I would recommend anyone to join Westminster. With some of the world’s biggest businesses on your doorstep, studying at Westminster can be your launchpad to a life-changing career. However, Westminster is not entirely about lectures and seminars. There's an infinity of opportunities for you to discover yourself, whether it's through a year abroad, a volunteering programme or a field trip.
