Executive Digital Transformation and Pre-Sales | hSenid Business Solutions

Business Information Systems BSc Honours – 2022

I recommend studying at Westminster and IIT (Sri Lanka) for all the things, including up-to-date course content, academic support from the lecturers, culture in the university and extra-curricular opportunities.

What are you doing now?

I'm currently working as an Executive Digital Transformation & Pre-Sales. In my third year of internship, I worked as a Trainee in Digital Marketing. Part-time, I work as a Head of Research & Strategy at a start-up. Other than that, I'm volunteering in the Leo movement. In my University days, I was involved in Rotaract. Moreover, I could win several quizzes and competitions in my Uni days and my final year project got selected for NBQSA Sri Lanka.

What did you find most valuable about your course at Westminster?

As someone who didn't enjoy coding all day, even though I had a passion for programming, I chose the BIS degree programme offered by the University of Westminster. What I find most valuable about the course is that it remains up-to-date with the current industry trends. I learned many skills including Marketing, PM, BA, BI, Research, Strategic Management, Information systems, Entrepreneurship etc, which came really handy once I entered the corporation.

Why would you recommend Westminster as a place to study?

I recommend studying at Westminster and IIT (Sri Lanka) for all the things, including up-to-date course content, academic support from the lecturers, culture in the university and extra-curricular opportunities.

What was the best thing about being a student in London?

I followed the Westminster degree from IIT Sri Lanka.

What advice would you give someone thinking of pursuing a similar career to you?

First, identify yourself - what you're capable of and passionate about. Enjoy your life while you're learning. Help your fellow coursemates who are struggling.
