For my postgraduate studies, London was an incredible city to study in. While I was still pursuing my degree, I was able to begin looking for prospective job opportunities and network with industry professionals.

Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

When I was looking at universities in the UK, my main focus was to find one with great learning and research environment, a chance to build a professional network and gain valuable employability skills and career opportunities. The university's location in central London allows easy access to employment opportunities and other great services that the city offers. Westminster is home to a diverse international community of motivated students and academics.

How has your experience been studying in London?

For my postgraduate studies, London was an incredible city to study in. While I was still pursuing my degree, I was able to begin looking for prospective job opportunities and network with industry professionals. Between classes, I spent time participating in cultural activities and meeting individuals from all around the world. Studying in London not only boosted my employability but also helped me to grow as a person.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

Learning and implementing new knowledge in practice, whether through assignments or my dissertation, was my favourite aspect of the course. I particularly enjoyed the group projects because they encouraged teamwork and helped us to learn from one another. The tasks throughout the course were focused on real-world business situations, and I was able to improve my theoretical knowledge and grasp how data analytics and Artificial Intelligence are used in the industry.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

I found academic support to be excellent. I was able to ask any questions regarding module materials or discuss related topics during regular office hours with the lecturers. The lectures were supplemented by tutorials with small groups of students where further academic assistance was provided. In a nutshell, the academic staff was cooperative, and they genuinely cared about each student's academic success.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

The online library is amazing and easily accessible with continuous support via live chat. You can browse a wide range of resources in various subjects. The university's library team helped us by conducting tutorials on how to best use the resources, especially during our dissertation.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

My advice to anyone thinking about going to Westminster is to be proactive and use all of the resources available to you as a student, such as academic support, employment opportunities, and the community. Additionally, explore what London has to offer outside of the university too!
