Ecommerce Business Analyst | Itim
Digital Business MSc – 2022
What are you doing now?
I have been working at Itim, which is a retail software solution company, as an Ecommerce Business Analyst. I also have a startup company called Auto Train Brain and we are building educational software solutions for dyslexia and autism. Our mobile application is moving forward on educating children at their homes instead of bringing them to rehab centres or special education that are expensive traditional solutions.
What did you find most valuable about your course at Westminster?
Networking and teaching quality were most valuable on my course. I was able to communicate easily with the diverse environment. I discovered what's missing in the university campuses: I started to develop a new mobile application called Unicon, which connects students with the same goals and interests on campus. This will become an event creation application for studying, entertaining, socialising or even going to the gym. I believe it is really difficult to meet with everyone on campus during a short period of time, this can be a good opportunity for students to find like-minded people easily.
Why would you recommend Westminster as a place to study?
Academic support, career events and community. On the other hand, every year many new students enrol at the University of Westminster from so many backgrounds, and they are often moving to the UK alone. I think it's an amazing time to meet new friends and learn and experience different cultures.
What was the best thing about being a student in London?
People are coming to London from all around the world for their studies and work, you can find or hear any language while walking on the streets. I believe this is one of the best parts of London because you never feel like a stranger. You can also find all the best restaurants with different types of cuisines. It is possible to find different social events such as going to theatre/musicals, visiting parks, doing sports or several other entertainment activities.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing a similar career to you?
No hesitation! You need to push as much as you can to touch the stars! Don't lose time by thinking and planning too much, just start it and you will learn everything on the way. I would recommend finding a fellow/comrade during this journey because the path won't be short...
