What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?
I truly appreciate the student-focused approach of my course; it creates opportunities for vibrant discussions and promotes independent learning, which makes the learning experience incredibly engaging. The modules have been exceptional, covering various topics from history and culture to international markets and business strategies. Gaining insights into global affairs and diverse cultural viewpoints has revealed areas I might not have delved into otherwise. What I find most valuable is how the course integrates language learning with practical business applications, equipping me with skills that are essential for a successful international career. The journey has been both demanding and fulfilling!
How have you found academic support as part of your studies?
The academic support at Westminster has been incredible. My lecturers have been extremely supportive and always willing to help with any challenges I’ve faced, whether it’s understanding complex topics or improving my coursework. They’ve also been really engaging, making lessons interesting and interactive while pushing me to achieve my best. Beyond the classroom, the academic staff have made sure I’m aware of all the opportunities available, from career workshops to study abroad programs, and have encouraged me to make the most of them, their guidance has made a huge difference in my confidence and overall learning experience.

What was the most surprising or unexpected aspect of your Westminster experience?
The most unexpected part of my time at Westminster has undoubtedly been the incredible people I've met. I never expected to form such strong connections so quickly, yet they have become some of the most significant people in my life. These friendships have made my experience here truly memorable, and I will always cherish them. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the social events. Typically, I'm not the most extroverted person, but the warm and inviting atmosphere encouraged me to engage and truly enjoy myself, which has significantly deepened my sense of belonging within the university and its vibrant community.
