Interior Architecture BA – 2022
From genuine passion from tutors to the care of alumni post-degree - this university cares and will help you in whatever you want to achieve.
What are you doing now?
My goal is to gain experience in set design/entertainment architecture.
What did you find most valuable about your course at Westminster?
Obviously, my degree itself was a big factor - but Student Hub and Engage were such a huge help. There is enough support on there to the equivalent of a second degree in my opinion. I learnt so much about business and attended so many other lectures I wouldn't have had access to otherwise. These taught me that branching out and asking for help is ok and really is a strength in itself.
Why would you recommend Westminster as a place to study?
How long is my list allowed to be? From genuine passion from tutors to the care of alumni post-degree - this university cares and will help you in whatever you want to achieve. From councillors to mentors to tutors to even the people who keep the place running. Everyone cares and has a reason to want to be at the university.
What was the best thing about being a student in London?
Having a safe place to go to, the University is open 24/7 so even as a peace of mind in itself you know there is always someone there. Otherwise, the vast contacts and the fact that quite literally everything is on your doorstep.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing a similar career to you?
Know what you want to do - if it's in your gut and if you really want it, you'll get it for yourself. You can't fake hard work and dedication.
