Speak with alumni to gain firsthand insights into the courses and student life!

Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

I was really impressed by the achievements of past students from the course, which gave me confidence in the quality of education I would receive. I also visited the campus and instantly felt comfortable—everything I needed was there, from facilities to the vibrant campus atmosphere. The combination of academic reputation and the welcoming environment made Westminster the perfect choice for me.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

The academic support has been fantastic; the staff truly helped me do my best. They are straightforward with their advice, making it easy to understand what I need to improve, but they’re also incredibly kind and supportive, always willing to go the extra mile to help with any challenges I faced. Their guidance has made a significant difference in my confidence and academic progress.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

Yes, the M Stores are a standout feature—they’re well-equipped, and you can freely book equipment for projects and presentations. It’s a great resource that makes it easier to practice and refine your work, giving you hands-on experience with professional tools and technology relevant to the industry.

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course

Outside of my studies, I joined societies like the history society and the Lebanese society, which allowed me to meet new people and make lasting friendships. These activities helped me engage with the campus community, and develop skills beyond my academic work, enriching my university experience.

What would your advice be to someone considering studying at Westminster?

My biggest advice would be to visit the area beforehand to get a feel for the environment and what it’s like living in London. Also, try to speak with staff or alumni to gain firsthand insights into the courses and student life. This will help you make an informed decision and get a sense of whether Westminster is the right place for you.

What's the best aspect of being a University of Westminster student?

The support from the staff is definitely the best aspect. They’re always available to help, whether it’s academically or personally, and they genuinely care about students’ success and well-being. That kind of support creates a positive and motivating environment that makes your university journey much more rewarding.
