What are you doing now?
I am working as an Assistant Lecturer at O P Jindal Global University in India.
What did you find most valuable about your course at Westminster?
I happened to meet some of the best professors who have written and researched extensively on the subject. The course, Public International Law, redefined my thinking and writing skills - it has paved a way for my career in academia.
Why would you recommend Westminster as a place to study?
Studying at the University of Westminster was a life-changing decision that I made - I met people from different cultures across the world. I love the University for its cultural diversity and compassionate environment. Academic and career support provided by the University is remarkable and provided me with a lot of clarity on my career. In addition to this, the location of the University is so prime, that even the laziest student would not miss their classes.
What was the best thing about being a student in London?
The vibrance and liveliness of the streets in London are not a secret. Also, being a student in London gives you self-confidence and perseverance. It made me realise my potential and become a strong, determined and compassionate individual.
What advice would you give someone thinking of pursuing a similar career to you?
I would tell them to stay focused because they are in a city that offers a lot of distractions. Also, faith helped me a lot in reaching where I have reached. Do not hurry, things will happen when they are destined to happen, provided you should not become complacent or stop trying. Keep reading, writing, conversing, connecting, and growing.
