About the speaker

This webinar will be delivered by the course leader, Sean Sutherland. Sean has taught English in a variety of roles including as a language assistant, language instructor and language teacher in the UK as well as overseas, in countries including Korea and Japan. As well as being the Course Leader for both the TESOL MA and TESOL Online MA, Sean also teaches undergraduate modules including Language and Texts, Discourse Analysis and Sociolinguistics for MA students and administers the work experience module for undergraduate students. His research interests are primarily in the area of discourse analysis, sociolinguistics and language teaching.
