About the event
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Westminster is proud to present our series of taster lectures for 2023.
These mini-lectures, designed and presented by senior academics in each subject field, provide a taster of what it’s like to study a subject area at university. This is a fantastic opportunity for students who want to explore their favourite subjects at a higher level and identify if they would like to pursue it at university.
This session asks: how can we best inform the public about climate change? What messages need to be communicated, how should these messages be communicated and who should they be communicated to? The talk will also consider some communication ‘dos and don’ts’ as suggested by psychological research.
.This event is free to attend and is open to all students currently studying a Level 3 qualification. Parents and carers are also welcome to attend.
