Rees Jeffreys Scholarship

This £10,000 scholarship is for students with an offer for the MSc Transport Planning at the University of Westminster who are committed to a career in roads, highways, or the wider UK transport sector.

Priority is given to applicants who demonstrate financial need, strong academic achievement, clear motivation for postgraduate study, and how the course will support their career goals.

Up to eight awards are available nationally, with universities nominating candidates for consideration.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold an offer for the MSc Transport Planning at the University of Westminster and demonstrate commitment to a career in roads, transport planning, highways or the wider transport sector in the UK.

Criteria

Priority will be given to candidates who:

  • demonstrate financial need and would benefit significantly from bursary support;
  • have a strong academic record, normally including a good first degree;
  • show clear motivation for postgraduate study in transport planning;
  • demonstrate commitment to developing a career in the UK roads, highways or transport sector;
  • can explain how the MSc will support their future career development
Number available

The Rees Jeffreys Road Fund awards up to eight bursaries nationally for students studying an MSc in roads, transport or a transport-related subject. Each university may nominate up to two eligible applicants for consideration by the Fund. Nomination by the University does not guarantee an award.
