Personal tutoring

Personal tutoring is a crucial aspect of how the University supports you. It will help you to fulfil your academic and personal potential.

If you are a student (on a course lasting more than a year) you will be allocated a personal tutor.

Get advice from your personal tutor on choosing option modules, gaining further study skills, planning which modules to take, or any matters affecting your studies. You can also talk to your personal tutor about anything that may be affecting your studies.

Your tutor can direct you to other University support services or put you in touch with a senior tutor, disability learning support, or the University’s counselling service for specialist advice, if appropriate.
