Westminster Enterprise Network (WeNetwork) has announced the launch of the second cohort of alumni to the Elevate programme, set to commence on 17 January, 2024.

Elevate, WeNetwork’s dynamic business support initiative, is geared towards graduates and alumni who are active founders of businesses registered and operating in the UK. The six-month programme is designed to offer tailored support and strategic guidance, positioning the participating businesses on a trajectory of growth with a focus on increased revenue generation and process optimisation. Key offerings of the programme include personalised planning with a Programme Advisor, accountability support, strategic business planning, industry-relevant mentoring, access to subject experts, hybrid workshops, peer coaching and lots more.

One of the distinctive features of the Elevate programme is the provision of up to £10,000 in equity-free programme funding. This funding empowers participants to strategically invest in areas of their businesses that will foster organic growth.

Among this year’s cohort is Manimekala Fuller, the founder of the fashion brand Manimekala, Aram Tufan, the creator of Happy Student, a platform that helps international students navigate campus life, and Sanjay d’Humières, founder of the technology business RTCX.

Also included in the cohort is Rahima Aktar, founder of the luxury semi-permanent makeup provider Eyelash Cure, Nuria Revuelta, who started The Dyás, a company that turns art into wearable items, and Charlotte Horler, the founder of the sustainability agency Nula.

To complete the list is Melissa Eakin, who created the London-based brand ISSA EAKIN that sells artisan garments and home items, Birendra Khadka, the founder of the company Chakow, which provides sustainable bidets and hygiene items, and Tom Capone and Angelica Bizzotto, the creators of the creative and digital marketing agency L3NS.

As these entrepreneurs embark on the Elevate programme, WeNetwork remains committed to fostering an environment of growth, collaboration and sustainable business practices.

Clelia Bevillard, Senior Manager of WeNetwork, said: “We’re really excited to welcome our second cohort of Westminster alumni to the Elevate business support programme. It’s a fantastically diverse group of founders covering a real range of business sectors from fashion to Ed-tech to manufacturing. One of the unique aspects of Elevate is that we are able to support businesses which are not the conventional tech start-up looking for VC funding and rapid growth to scale. This enables us to support businesses which share Westminster’s values so there is a real focus on sustainable development across the group and we’re proud to welcome social enterprises as well as commercial businesses.”
