The new agreement between Westminster Business School and ESCE was signed by Dr Katalin Illes, Associate Head of Westminster Business School, and Dr Christophe Boisseau, Dean of ESCE. The agreement will see students from ESCE courses progress to the final year of the Business Management BA Honours and Global Trade and Business BA Honours courses at Westminster Business School.

ESCE arranged a whole international day at Westminster Business School on 14 March on the theme of Brexit. The day began with a panel discussion about ‘The Reality of Brexit’ involving Dr Karen Jackson, Reader in Economics and Assistant Head of the School of Organisations, Economics and Society, alongside Gaelle Deharo, Bernd Philipp and Kirsten Ralf from ESCE. Dr Panos Hahamis, Senior Lecturer from Westminster’s School of Applied Management, and Mary de Gendre from ESCE also chaired the event.

In the afternoon, Jean-Francois Depin and Claire Dublois from the French Directorate-General of Customs and Indirect Taxes spoke about the consequences of Brexit for companies. ESCE also arranged a fish and chip van to come to the campus as a surprise lunch for all of the students.

Founded in 1968, ESCE International Business School is a private business school offering a Master’s degree accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, placing itself among the top post-baccalaureate business schools in France. Situated in the heart of Paris, steps away from the Eiffel Tower, ESCE is a member of Conférence des Grandes Ecoles and recognized as a ‘Grande Ecole’ in France.

Talking about the agreement, Dr Katalin Illes said: “This new agreement with ESCE marks a new chapter in our 12-year partnership. It comes at a time where maintaining close ties with our European neighbours are a strategic priority for Westminster Business School.”

Dr Christophe Boisseau added: "This new double degree progression agreement between ESCE and the University of Westminster strengthens and nurtures the long-standing relationship between our institutions.”
