University of Westminster Kaplan Impact Scholarship terms and conditions

1. To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following conditions:

  • Be an Overseas student for fee purposes and progressing from a Westminster pathway programme with Kaplan International Pathways studied at Kaplan International College London
  • Have been awarded the Kaplan Impact Scholarship for their studies at Kaplan International College London
  • Have met the agreed academic and English Language progression requirements in their studies with Kaplan International Pathways

2. The scholarship of £2,000 is awarded for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Westminster starting in the September directly following the successful completion of a Westminster pathway programme with Kaplan International Pathways.

3. The scholarship of £2000 is awarded for the first academic year of study only towards tuition fees. Students must pay the full cost of tuition in subsequent years of study.

4. The scholarship will be paid directly to the University’s Finance Offices on behalf of the student by the Scholarships office toward tuition fees within the first semester.

5. Scholarships cannot be deferred to another intake.

6. If an awardee decides to change programmes, any changes are subject to university approval.

7. The following categories of students are not eligible:

  1. Postgraduate Diploma
  2. Professional courses (eg RIBA pt III, ACCA, CIMA, CiLEX)
  3. Conversion courses (eg Graduate Diploma in Law)
  4. Integrated Masters/MPhil/PhD student
  5. Part time students

8. Recipients of this award are expected to participate in university promotional activities, attendance at university events and the annual scholarship reception. University of Westminster reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
