Fashion Design BA course induction

Welcome to your course

Firstly, congratulations on getting a place on the BA course at University of Westminster - and welcome to you from the whole staff team!

Induction week is all about making sure you understand a little more about the university, your course and introducing you to your classmates before you start your studies.

You will get to meet some of the current students studying on the course and the staff who will be teaching you, who will be there to support you if you need help.

Please make sure you attend all of your sessions during induction week as amongst other activities you will also be learning how to use the industrial sewing machines, tracing out your pattern blocks and visiting the archive - all things you need to successfully complete your first project!

You are going to work really hard but also have so much fun together learning everything you need to be a successful fashion designer - the journey starts now!

Welcome to Westminster School of Arts

We are delighted that you are joining our vibrant and exciting community where we aim to support you in achieving your creative and academic potential. Based on our Harrow Campus, the School of Arts benefits from generous spaces for students to undertake their creative practice, join community events and a full suite of some of the most advanced technical and digital workshops.

During Welcome Week, we have planned a programme of activities for you, to help you navigate your way around the campuses, understand how to engage with your course team and space to get to know one another. Please do attend these events.
